Leticia Abegail was born in San Francisco CA. but grew up in the most visited border in the world, Tijuana. This multicultural side is a key piece in the projection of her art. 

 

Since she was a child she had the passion to create, every subject she related it in an artistic way. Her childhood was full of colors and materials, she even preferred to play with her creative mind at home with paper and colors, rather than going out to make mischief like other children of her age. She was always very dedicated to school, appearing on honor rolls and attending contests representing her school. She finished high school "Reform Laws" with a certificate in technical drawing with the master Cristobal Garcia.  From a very young age she had defined her goal and continued in the Lázaro Cardenas High School with the culmination of this, certified in Architectural Drawing by the Architect Reyes y Coca in the 2003-2016 generation. With university studies in Sustainable Architecture at the Tecnológico de Tijuana and studies in Interior Architecture at the Escuela Superior of Visual Arts. Leticia currently decides to dedicate herself professionally to abstract art. 

 

In the year 2021 she concluded several abstract art workshops formalizing previous knowledge, as well as courses endorsed by The Secretary of Labor and Social Security, such as:

 

• Creative intervention, art therapy and thanatology: Taught by Lic. Isais Placencia, clinical psychologist with a master's degree in Gestalt Psychology.

• Art therapy in the educational environment for children and adolescents: Taught by teacher Mariela Lopez with a master's degree in Art Therapy in Barcelona.

• Marketing, sales, RRSS, curatorial and photography strategies for visual artists: Taught by BADAMX artist manager of Buenos Aires.

Leticia is very grateful to her teachers as they have been a crucial part of her development. With the pleasure to continue learning, she plans to continue preparing herself to improve the projection of her art, this is a fundamental piece for her since she has been able to achieve her mission which is to canalize emotions through art. This means that she has the ability to project on a canvas what has no form. As a consequence of this exquisite mixture we have a work of art that transmits to the observer her own universe, fulfilling the incomparable; "From my own to the world, this is how I manage to project what cannot be seen" - Leticia Abegail.
